Re: Father of the excess Iron theory of heart disease dies

I thougt the father of the iron/heart disease theory is E.D. Weinberg (Exposing the Hidden Dangers of Iron)??? I think the theory is like: "kidney stones are caused by vitamin C - or perhaps vitamin D or...". But it's true, there is a connection: Without iron the heart gets no air. Though ...

Re: Father of the excess Iron theory of heart disease dies

Owen I consistently take 10 to 20 grams vitamin C since about 4 years. Additional 6 to 10 grams lysine and 1,5 to 2 grams proline (and other nutrients like vitamin E, Q10, omega-3, B-complex and so on). Where can I find the "new knowledge" from Hickey/Roberts? I know their books "Vita...

Re: World Renowned Heart Surgeon Speaks Out On What Really Causes Heart Disease

Hmmmh. May be there is a connection. But the c a u s e of atherosclerosis and heart disease are never viruses, bacteria, toxins or carbos. Nor cholesterol, oxid. cholesterol or saturated fat

Re: Too little potassium and cardiovascular disease

I take "Kalinor" (600 mg potassium).
But I have my doubts about the study. Calcification only in the arteries? Why not in the veins?

Re: German trying to use PT to lower Lp(a) without success

On my question about the harmful effects of magnesium stearate:
I asked the Rath-Team because their products also contain magnesium stearate. They replied to me that magnesium stearate is only contained in very small quantities. And that has no harmful effects on health.

Which method is used to measure and not "computed" lp(a)?

Re: Oddly High Lp(a) Measurements

I'm fighting the same problem. My lp(a) has risen to 0,92 g/l (= 92 mg/dl) according to the lab report. The previous value was measured by another lab at 49 mg/dl (limit 30 mg/dl). Strangely, the values in the lab I last used are regularly higher. Both labs measured with a nephelometer. However, nep...

Re: Vitamin-B6, Is it vital to CVD recovery?

I have forgotten. 15,7 were measured in the serum. Therefore the result could be faulty. Better is to measure in the plasma and to use a special blood "container". 9,3 were measured in the plasma (after infusions).

Re: Vitamin-B6, Is it vital to CVD recovery?

My homocysteine level declined to 9,3. And I changed my folic acid. Now I take Optimized Folate (5 L-Methyfolate) from LE. Tomorrow I'll measure again.

Have you measured your vitamin B6 level? My level was OK, at most too high. But my homocysteine level was 15,7. Much too high. Therefore I took infusions with vitamin B6, B9 and B12. What about your homocysteine level?

Re: German trying to use PT to lower Lp(a) without success

Another question: In addition to PT I take a number of nutrient capsules. Most of them contain magnesium stearate.
Does anyone know if magnesium stearate is harmful?
