Too much Lysine (10g) -> 6g is standard pauling dose
Too much Proline (6g) -> 2g standard, your body makes its own as well.
Vitamin E complex(8) -> I take the "8" to mean 4 tocopherols and 4 tocotrienols, you may want to read this interview with Dr.Tan http://www.drpasswater.com/nutrition_library/tan_1.html
Tan: I usually recommend that people take their tocopherols in the morning and take their tocotrienol supplement in the evening with dinner

Vitamin B complex -> I would recommend a brand that contains the methyl forms of B12 and Folate.

Also don't see any Vitamin D3 on your list.
Even a Blind Squirrel makes his own vitamin C.

Very many thanks to all so far for your valued input, very useful indeed. I want to spend the rest of the afternoon researching and I'll reply individually this evening (Bangkok time).

Thanks for that Saw, revised the Lycine & Proline doses. Tan's info is good, I had no idea about Vitamin E till reading that. Tocotrienol it is. Annatto plants grow in Northern Thailand, I'll look for seeds and have a shot at growing a few plants here close to Hua Hin. B complex next on the research list. Added D3 to the order.

A high quality hawthorn extract can be very good for heart health. The customer reviews at iHerb (the link is below) are interesting. I haven't tried their Hawthorn products yet but maybe you can find a good herbalist in your area to give you advice on where to find a good product.

Good luck freddy with your angina, etc.

The postings of mine I mentioned above include this posting (it has several links to free downloads of Dr. Prendergast interviews):

I thought this topic was good as well as the advice, except for "hawthorn extract" and wonder what there is about it that is supposed to be good? (Perhaps it contains high amounts of lysine or arginine?) My negative opinion was formed over the years by people who tried a product with this extract, found no relief and started trying Linus Pauling therapy products.
